Mike McColl Jones came into the world in Melbourne in 1937. Some 20 years later he began writing comedy for television and has since worked with top performers from this country and from overseas. He has written for In Melbourne Tonight, The Noel Ferrier Show, The Bert Newton Show, The Loggies, Stuart Wagstaff's IMT, Jimmy Hannan's IMT, Ugly Dave Gray's IMT, Bob Monkhouse Specials, The Don Lane Show, The Penthouse Club, Quest of Quests, and many others. Apart from writing for some 4000 shows, he has written for Graham Kennedy, Bert Newton, Tommy Hanlon, Don Lane and Mary Hardy on radio. He is currently creative consultant at Channel 10 for Peter Couchman's shows.
